So, it's mid August of what has been an interesting summer. Bought the Wii game to exercise, but end up in our above ground pool on hot days. BBQ food is big temptation, plus sweet drinks like margaritas and daiquairies(spelling?). Not sleeping well in the heat, getting up and eating in the middle of the night is not good. Tried to drum up some interest amongst local lawyers for adopt a type 2 idea, but no sparks at all. It's a bad time of year for that kind of thing of course.
I fantasize about running, enjoying it and getting skinny. That's a silly fantary: I can't really run now, hate it, and can't lose weight; same old trough, discouraged, need kick in the ass. It's so relentless, 24/7, can't let down your guard without paying the price. I want to put food lower in my priorities, as I think about food far too much.
Any secrets of success out there? How about that silver bullet? Yeah, right...
If you're being good, keep it up. If you've been lapsing, then don't give up, make some small changes, create small victories.
